SHIT!!! I am so bored at work!!! I've been sitting at the front desk everyday this week!!! I need a position that I can be challenged at!!! Speaking of... I'm on the venture of finding a "real" job... so when I'm done with school... I can work... I want to work at a place where I LOVE!!! and ENJOY!!! Hhhmmm.... still searching!!! I found one last week on Craigslist.org... It was for an Event Marketing Coordinator... BUT it says Required is 3-5years in Trade Shows and Event Coordinating... DAYUM!!! I hate it when it says that!!! It's so discouraging!!! RRRRRrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!

I was bored at work and took a pix... I'm so silly... and I've been breaking out!!!

Okay well lets see... it's my birthday in... 3 DAYS!!! ON VALENTINE'S DAY!!! I kinda keep forgetting that it's my birthday... i don't know why... Maybe cuz i'll really be more of a  "granny" to my pledge sisters!!! hahaha!! j/k.

So I've been more ballsy on going on the back of "sweetums" motorcycle!!!

What's planned for this weekend...
Friday:
Immij practice at 7pm... (hopefully if Alex confirms it!!!) if not then I have a Valentine Social with Tri Sigmas!!! We did it last year and it was ssssssssssoooooooooooooo much fun!!! Those girls are crazy like us DOX ladies!!! After... i'll be hanging out with my pledge sister, Samone... and we want to go out... We want the other sisters to come too but THEY HAVEN'T RESPONDED TO HER E-MAIL!!! hahaha... SiSTARS!!! Come out and play!!! Well I don't know what we're doing tonight... we'll just have to see!!!

Saturday:
I'm going to have dinner with my girls (from back in the days...) to celebrate my birthday.  Then it's off to the city we go!!! It's either going to be "The Cellar" or "Dolce"... which ever one... as long as we don't have to pay!!!

Sunday:
Going to Chinatown with my parent and my "sweetums" Nicor... We're going to have some dim sum for my birthday breakfast!!! mmmm... yummy .... chicken feet!!! (i swear it's hella good!!!!)...
Then we go to Nicor's family place in Hercules. Hang out there for a little, then go to dinner at some Thai restaurant... then we're going bowling... (new family hobby)

Monday:
That day... i have no idea... "Sweetums" always surprises me!!! I love that he's like that... We're not exchanging Valentine gifts because we're both trying to save up... He's buying my plane tickets to go to the PHILIPINES!!! that's awesome!!! I've never been out of the country ever!!! I told him not to buy me anything because I will return it if he does!!! I SWEAR I WILL!!!

Okay well Office Depot just came and i'm going to deliver the goods... okay bye!!!

Okay well I'm going to try to Xanga as often as I could... so keep on reading... Sometimes, my entries might be boring but hey!!! It's all good... sometimes it could be DAYUM!!! hahaha

Okay so to start of with Friday...
I've been stuck at the Front Desk at my job since Thursday!!! The "real" receptionist is sick!!! She is really sick and not playing hooky... It's chill at the front desk because I didn't have to do SHIT but just answer phones! and surf on the web... and go through MySpace.com to see who else I can add... EVERYONE AND THEIR MAMA!!! hahaha... But it's been boring more the less... =( ...
So going on... I was deciding all last week... "hmmm... maybe I should cut my hair because it's time for a change..." Well I finally decided to go ahead and do it! I made an appointment with Nicole at Gina Khan (thanks to Kristine from IMMIJ LADIES, who refered me to her) Kristine said it will be about $43 for a cut... DAYUM!!! I've never paid that much for a hair cut... Let's see... I used to pay $12 for wash, cut & dry at some place in Chinatown (a place I went to since I was young... probably since I was 6years old)... then I UPGRADED my "salon" to this place in Newark .  KC was the person that cut my hair... She's cool...It was $28 for a cut!!! DAYUM!!! It was okay tho because she does such a great job!!! I've been going there for more than a year now... NOW I decided... you know what... I deserve an EXPENSIVE CUT!!! so $43... i would say it's expensive for now... So i was so excited that I made an appointment... but the thing was it was at 9:30am on a Saturday Morning in Union Square Area in San Francisco... DAYUM!!!

Okay so continuing with Friday Night...
I had immij practice... first it was just my atay (baby Mei), Doris & Kristine... First we warmed up with some stretching... Wow! it felt so good!!! I should probably be doing that everyday... BUT i don't & probably won't... Then we started to do choreography for one of the songs... Summer wasn't there to teach us the chorus part, so we did choreo for the beginning of the song...Well later Summer came... (she's one of the other immij dancers)... Where's JOSTEN!!! damnit Josten!!! So that night I was so anxious to get my haircut already!!! I didn't even tell my sweetums (Nicor) that I was getting my haircut.  I just wanted to surprise him!!! So here the picture the night before I got my haircut...

Saturday Morning...

I woke up early & drove my PHAT ASS to downtown SF.  Wow the environment at Gina Khan is so cool!!! Right when I got up the stairs, I was in aaawwwwweeeee... because i've never been in a REAL salon!!! I go to the front desk to check in, then they told me to take off my jacket and any top garmets off to wear their robe... then I checked me jacket at the coat check... then they asked if I wanted Coffee, Tea or Water!!! Wow!!! No salon has EVER... EVER if I wanted something to drink!!! Then I waited... Well when Nicole was ready... she said okay Gina I'm ready for you... and two of us ladies got up at the same time...but Nicole was talking to the other Gina... So I was like... okay... then I went to the front desk to ask if there were 2 Gina's waiting for Nicole... THERE WAS!!! So the other girl got back into the waiting area and I sat on the HOT SEAT!!!
Okay so my hair was long... dried... had endless split ends... and wavy... Of course it's time for a CHANGE... Nicole asked, "okay so what do you use to shampoo & condition your hair... and don't say Pantene Pro V"... I said... "Herbal Essences"... she said... "that is just as bad!" She said my hair was SUPER DRY~~~ from all the coloring I have been doing and also because of the perm I got last year! Then she started cutting... just the bottom before she began washing my hair... Then my hair was washed... I brough in a picture of the kind of hair cut I wanted... So she chopped away... CHOP CHOP CHOP... I couldn't believe I decided to cut my hair short!!! did I do the right thing???...
Well Nicole was great!!! I had such a great experience because she told me EXACTLY what to do and how to do my hair.  So I can do it on my own!!! It was GREAT!!! I'm going to refer her to everyone I know who wants to get a haircut service... She did a BOMB ASS job with Kristine & Doris's hair too!!! Kristine has medium length hair...and Doris has short hair... so Nicole can cut any length hair!!! Let me know if you wanna get your hair cut! I'll give you a referral card so you get a FREE GIFT!!!
So after she was done with my hair, I asked her what products I should get... she wasn't forcing me to buy the products but I figured since I didn't want my hair to be dried, I should buy THE GOOD STUFF!!!

So I know you're all very ANXIOUS to know how my hair turned out... well here it is!!!

It's short huh!!! It's the shortest I've ever gotten.  You like??? Well I LOVE it!!! So easy to manage!!! and so stylish!!!

When I came home, I decided to wash my car (dayum!!! it rained Saturday!!!) because my car was dirty!!! After I was done, Sweetums came home and he scared him... BUT I shocked him with my haircut!!! He said, "Oh wow! You cut your hair!! *smiled* It looks good!" AAAAAaaaaaawww... and to think my Sweetums didn't want me to cut my hair short before...

So that night, me and Sweetums (or Pimpilicious), took a nap because we were both tired... and woke up later in the evening and went out to eat... It was a chill night...

Sunday

Sunday, I went to Chinatown with my parents to go to the temple to pay respects to my ancestors... my grands and my great grands... Then went to walk down Grant Street because there was a Chinese New Year Festival going on. My mom bought me an ORCHID flower... it's purple!!! My favorite color!!!... Was at Chinatown until 2:30pm... then met up with my classmate to study for a midterm for my Industrial Relations class...Blah!!! Hopefully i'll pass this class so I don't have to come back to CSU...EB for ONE CLASS!!!

Well that was my weekend!!! So EVENTFUL!!! Now, i'm just gonna have to search for a job!!! a "REAL" job... a job that I will enjoy!!!

Okay so... I have time now to update my Xanga... Sorry I hardly write it this thang... I never find the time to write...

So anyways... I had a really busy weekend last weekend because of the 2nd Annual Asian American Music Conference (www.asianamericanmusicconference.com)

Friday: I didn't go to work that day because... i just didn't want to because there was much things to do for AAMC.  So first, I went to pick up Albert Lao and Edwin Banacia from the hotel... Crowne Plaza Hotel.  Albert & Edwin are from New York and they are from Sony BMB Entertainment... and they were speakers for the Asian American Music Conference!!! Wow!!! That's cool right! Came all the way across the US to show some love and educate aspiring artists!!! So anyways, we had an interview with the WILD 94.9 DOGHOUSE!!! Yeah they're some crazy guys!! We were meeting Christina (aka Ms. Luna) there since she was going to do most of the speaking.  (she was so nervous!!! kinda scary since it was the DogHouse) We were also meeting Janeska, a Asian American Artist, who was also performing in the Showcase after AAMC! The interview went well... really quick though.  Ruthie... she was the sweetest and bubbly woman!!! Being around her gave me energy too (even when I didn't have breakfast) I spoke a little bit on the air b/c JV asked who was the one who called Ruthie to be a speaker of AAMC... of course I raised my hand... and he told me to step up to the MIC... dayum... But anyways.... that was that... a quick 10 minute interview and also to promote AAMC...
So after that I took Edwin and Albert to Mel's Diner to have lunch.  They are some pretty goofy guys! Very opposite from each other but they were entertaining!!! On the way back to the hotel, Edwin was singing in the background!!! hahaha

Friday Night: Christina and I went to Hillsdale Mall to go shopping for something to wear for AAMC and the afterparty!!! Dayumm... it took me a longtime to find something BURGUNDY!!! but Christina found me a shirt!!! yeah!!  And she got a "sexy" shirt for the afterparty!! So after we went to pick up Albert & Edwin to go to immij practice at LoudMouth Media and also because Albert & Edwin had a meeting with Reno... A&E was very impressed with immijladies!!! yeah!! as for dancers, we learned a warming exercise Franchesca taught us!!! It was fun!!! Very uplifting for us!!! "Let's get LOUD... let's get loud!!!" We went back to the hotel and Patricia met us there because she was staying at the hotel as well.  We worked on goodie bags that night... 250+ goodie bags!!! dayum!!! I just wanted to finish so we could go to sleep!!! then... ZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...

Saturaday: Yeah!!! AAMC was finally here.  After working on it for a month+, it was finally the day!!! I was EVENT MANAGER... because May, Myra & Christina had confidence that I could be IT!!! (thanks ladies!!!) The conference went very well!!! It was such a success!!! Good feedback from Speakers and Attendees!!! I took almost 100 pictures that day!!! You know me... I always have a camera in hand!!! There were many speakers from every part of the industry!!! and each of them had so much love to come and educate about what they knew!!! I stepped back at one point and I just looked around... so much love in ONE ROOM!!! People networking and just getting to know each other... or just a big PHAT reunion!!!  Everyone kept asking me, especially AAMC Staff, "are you okay" and I said..."yep... still smiling from ear to ear!!!" It wasn't as stressfull as I thought it would be... even though we were behind in our schedule!!! Overall, it was a great event!!!

Saturday Evening: Well Kristine from IMMIJLADIES did my make-up for me!!! She did a BANG ASS job!!! I need to learn from her & doris!!! I need to learn how to put some make-up on!!! We all looked fabulous!!! Kristine even did Christina's make-up and hair!!! Ms. Luna!! you looked HOT!!! hahaha... and she even did Patricia's!!

AFTERPARTY!!! hey hey hey!!! It was a long day... and a night that I deserved to have fun!!! I had a couple drinks and was pretty drunk!!! I saw some peeps tho!!! I saw Romark, Chris & Eric!!! From back in the days!!! Well they all know Patricia, so she invited them... but was was  a trip was Romark used to like Me & Patricia (at different times) ahhaa... we were teasing him!!! Oh then I saw BJ (AKO BJ)... and his bro Danny!

Okay so many of us Prime people were kinda drunk... especially PATRICIA!!! She had one too many drinks!!! ahahaa.. good thing i didn't drink too much other wise I wouldn't have been able to drive!!! Well we didn't get back to the telly until 3am... i was so tired by then!!!

So this week went by pretty quick!!! I had an exam for Strategic Management on Monday, which I thought I thought I did horrible, but ended up getting an A!!! yeah me!!!

Okay well i'm going to get back to my boring day today... playing RECEPTIONIST because my "mom @ work" is out sick... poor her!!!

And the adventure continues...

Okay well I haven't entered an entry in like the longest time!

A lot to talk write but I'm too tired... it's only 12am!! hmmmmmmmmm.... *yawn* How about I write about it tomorrow... i need to catch up on my Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz... i lost a lot during the week before and the week of finals!!! I'm glad this quarter is over... 3 more months (1 quarter) to go and i'm "done...done..." with school...
